Windermere Health and Rehabilitation Center located on J. Dewey Gray Circle is under investigation by the Georgia Department of Public Health. As of late Monday, 74 patients and 20 employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
Of those 74 residents, 4 have died, 4 are being treated at the hospital and 70 are self-isolating at the facility.
At this time, District Attorney Natalie Paine is working with the governor’s office and the Department of Health to appropriately respond to the outbreak.
